 Practice change today, Friday, 3/5. Juniors 5:00-6:30, Intermediate 5:30-6:30, Beginners 5:45-6:30, Seniors as normally scheduled. For those Juniors/Seniors not going to the Turlock meet, there will be normal practice on Saturday. |

Good
News is better late than never. We just found out
that our 5 swimmers who swam in the California/Nevada Speedo Sectionals
in Long Beach in December placed 3rd for small teams!!! We have a
trophy on the way! That's 2 trophies from sectionals in the less
than two years we've been in existence. Way to go NORCAL swimmers!

sent 23 swimmers to the Stockton Swim Club meet this past weekend, and MAN DID
WE SWIM FAST!!!!! We had MANY best times!! Many new A times, and
Dylan Toy qualified for his first Far Western Meet in the 100 back! Great
job NCAL!!! Updated TEAM records will posted soon. |

Katelyne Herrington on being named one of 3 17 year old girls who won 2009
Outstanding Age Group Swimmer Award for Pacific Swimming! This is a great

We had 5 swimmers
compete at the California-Nevada Short Course Sectional Championships in Long
Beach. Each swimmer came away with at least one lifetime best. Halli
Garza and Brittany Aoyama each had 4 best times, while Riley Smith, Katelyne
Herrington, and Garrett Thompson each had 1 lifetime best. Brittany,
Katelyne and Garrett each swam in finals and scored points for the team, where
we finished 4th place in the Small Team division, just barely missing a trophy.
GREAT JOB NORCAL! What a great way to finish 2009, and 2010 looks to be
even more promising! |
